A happy blog at last

Thanks for sticking with me, guys. I'm so excited to be able to write something positive for a change.

This morning I ran a whole one and a half kilometres with only a small amount of pain in my knees and hardly any stiffness.

I had a rather embarrassing moment of insight the other day when I realised that I haven't been following any of the advice I give my clients, so I mapped out quite an aggressive management plan for my arthritis that I've been following for the last ten days or so. And something seems to be working!

This is the week's update so far:

Saturday
30 minute walk/jog

Sunday
2.5k rowing 13.5 mins, 25 mins bike (Intvl lvl 4)

Monday
45 minute walk

Tuesday
2.5k rowing 13.2 mins, 20 mins bike (Intvl lvl 5)

Wednesday
Walk/jog 1.75k/1.5k

I won't dampen my euphoric mood with any mention of the ...ummm...other stuff that's going on except to say that I'm getting further behind than ever. Time to apply for an extension tomorrow.

I'm very happy for you chicky. Well done - and keep up that management strategy. It certainly seems to be working.

What great news! I'm sure now things are moving in the right direction they will continue to do so.

And just think, all that 'other stuff' will be well and truly out of the way before our next CR drinks.

don't sweat about the small stuff and then remember - it's all small stuff.

Great to hear the legs are responding well. Take it easy getting back into it and keep up the walking to balance it all out.

Hope you arent' in too much pain :)

Doesn't it feel great when you start doing some K's after an injury break.
