A very slow swim
In keeping with the theme of this week, I was still pretty sore and stiff when I got to the pool so I did a 1k swim without worrying too much about timing.
It ended up taking nearly 50 minutes instead of the 40 minutes I managed last week, but considering the combination of medication and uni induced insomnia is making me extra tired at the moment, I wasn't too concerned .
At the moment my only focus is to keep my routine going until I'm feeling better. If I can get through this episode without backsliding too much, or giving up altogether I'll be very happy.

Cirque, with your determination I have no doubt that any back-sliding will be kept to a minimum! Now, please slow down because you are making the rest of us feel downright lazy!
Cirque - at a busy time like this, the best thing is to get out there and just exercise and not to worry too much about the time. Good on you Miss Y; keep it up chicky.

By continuing to do something you're avoiding backsliding, someone who's very fit once told me that fitness levels can transfer from one sport to another and therefore swimming can help running. I admire your ability to swim 1k.
Good on you for keeping up with the swimming! At least you're able to get away from everything and get some exercise done. Life seems so much better when you can get out for a swim/run/walk or whatever!
Like the others have said, Cirque, you don't give up & that's a good way to measure real success; keep at it, you're doing just great!
Nice looking banner Cirque - it kinda looks new around here -like your blog has had a Spring clean !
