Sad Cirque :(
Rower, treadmill (5 min run) , bike.
As soon as I stepped out of bed this morning I could feel the pain in my shin again.
I went to church (but couldn't do my customary shin stretches on the pew kneelers), then did the grocery shopping and I could feel a little bit of soreness when I was walking but it was very occasional and minor.
At the gym I did 2k on the rower and then walked on the treadmill for a few minutes and everything was fine, but as soon as I started running I could definitely feel the pain in the same place as before.
I was so disappointed and p***ed off I wanted to scream!
Anyway, I ran for five minutes and then did some stuff on the bike and then rushed home to get some ice on as fast as I could. I have no idea why it has started again when I've only been running for five minutes at a atime. The only thing I can think of is that I did something in the pool yesterday - maybe running in shallow water is contributing, but I wouldn't have thought so.

Shallow water running would not have done you any harm, this is actually what some people use to get over their injuries.
Cirque have you taken any anti-inflammatories? I found that I ran and get getting niggles/pain. So i had to stop completely, ice, stretch and definitely take the NSAIDs'. These got rid of the final vestiges of inflammation so then it was just a matter of running and getting back to where I left off (well I'm still on that path).
Might be time to see a sports dr if you haven't lately.
Hope it starts improving soon :)
Drat, damn, darn, etc! What a pain (literally). Hope it gets better soon.
What a bummer, Cirque. Hang in there.
Hang in there Cirque. Virtual JOCS cuddles coming your way right NOW!
