An achy day today, but the brief respite from arthritis and my lovely weekend has given me enough motivation to work through the frustration and keep up the cross training.
Tuesday
15 mins rowing, 20 mins cycling
Wednesday
10 mins rowing, 20 mins cycling, 2 mins running (OUCH!).
Today
Yoga
All the research into shin problems I've done recently seemed to indicate that I should have had some improvement in my condition by now so I thought it might be time for some podiatry advice. I was very lucky to get an appointment with Steve (at Intraining) at short notice this afternoon, and he confirmed that my leg is rolling in excessively, which may be causing the problem. He has adjusted one of my orthotics, and I will need to keep resting and icing for another couple of weeks. Hopefully by wearing my adjusted orthotics in my 'little old lady shoes' to work every day, the problem should resolve.

I hope your shins return to normal soon Cirque... Shin splints are the pits!
