Cirque goes off on a tangent
3k; 1-1-2-3-3-2-1-, with 2 min walking intervals; 27.34 mins; K's run = 1.4?
I was so inspired by Plu’s support, and the links he posted in the Kindy thread that I’ve decided to change my program.
Instead of increasing, as I have been doing, from 1 min r/1 min w to 2 min r/1 min w for 30 minutes, some of the programs on these links increase the duration of the middle interval instead, which makes a lot of sense, particularly for impatient people like me who have an obsession with “continuous” running.
The one I really liked goes from:
1-2-3-3-2-1-…to
2-5-5-3……....to
2-5-8-3-…,
which seems a bit extreme for me so I am trying to adapt it.
For today's effort - see above.
Will keep you posted!

Nice one Yvette! It sounds like Plu's tips might well work for you. A lot of this running caper is about finding what works best for you - you are an experiment of one and all that... Just make sure that you leave adequate time for your body to recover between sessions - I learned that lesson the hard way.
