Couch to Warwick - time's up!

One more evening on the couch!

Tomorrow I'll be collecting those lovely girls Jen_runs and The Owl from the airport at 4.30 and we'll be heading out to Warwick. The Cirquelets will be meeting us there a bit later.

I've done virtually no running since Sunday because my stomach still hasn't settled down. I've had almost constant nausea which is worse during the night and in the morning, so I also haven't had much sleep. I attempted a walk/jog on Tuesday but the combination of Mylanta, Donnatabs and water sloshing around in my stomach at 5.30 in the morning was too much to take. Not great preparation, but at least my legs are rested!

The Cirque family is like the walking wounded tonight. C1 has an ongoing hamstring strain from the Brisbane marathon which he finally had some physio on today (and was told he shouldn't be running on) and C2 came home from crossy training tonight with what seems to be a strained tendon/ligament in his ankle.

Anyway - our plans for Warwick are:
C1 - all five races
C2 - Everything except the half
Me - the 5k (very, very slowly) and the 1500m (probably even slower).

Good luck to anyone running anywhere this weekend, especially everyone at Warwick and at the SMH Half. 2P and GG - I wish I could be there to wave pom poms at you. Wobbly - I wish you were joining us at Warwick, look after that shin! Lulu - wish you were coming too!

Sounds wonderful! I wish that I was there to share it with you girls (and the cirquettes). Don't be too hard on yourself, and most importantly enjoy it!

No, the 1500 will be faster Cirque. Just 'slowly'.

'Warwick back to the couch' should be a good report ;)

Try Zantac instead of the Mylanta it is much more gooder.
