Unscheduled rest day
Wednesday
45 minute bike ride - stayed vertical
Thursday
Nothing - ('scuse language - Bugger!!)
Alarm set for 4.45. Running clothes all set out ready for triumphant run.
Woke at 4.30. Experienced lots of pain while waiting for eyes to open.
Repeated mantra - "managing arthritis means finding the right balance between exercise and rest." Argued with mantra and accused it of being unreasonable.
Decided rest was needed more than exercise. Went back to sleep for another hour. Woke up at 5.30 and felt totally grumpy and irritable all day, as well as still being sore.
Will try again tomorrow.

Remained vertical - I have a vision of you popping a wheelie all the way down your street :-)
Exercise is over-rated - rest is good :-)
yoko, jakamoko, toto
You're becoming quite expert on that bike thingy.
Hope the rest helped.
Mantras can be damn bothersome sometimes! Hope you're feeling much better and have been for that triumphant run!
As for the sanskrit terms - you are right about the terminology - 'doing the dog pose' can raise some eyebrows!
Your a real trooper Cirque!!! I am glad you stayed in bed :-) Good on you with the bike... your getting really good at it!
Reasonable is a dirty word, but good on you for it. :)
