When the carnival is over..........
As far as overindulgence in champagne and chocolate goes, all good things must come to an end, so today virtuous Cirque has been drinking lots of water, eating very little and doing some (not too strenuous) exercise.
Luckily there was a bit of a breeze this morning so I went for a 25 minute bike ride with C1 (he ran, I rode). This afternoon, the Cs and I went to the pool at the gym and I did about 45 minutes of a combination of swimming, water walking/running and kickboarding.
The pain in my back/shoulder has decreased a lot with rest but it's still there and gets aggravated with exercise or if I move the wrong way, so tomorrow I have to make a decision who I should see about it. Thanks very much for all your input everyone. I think the best course of action may be to ring my chiro (who works in what they refer to as a "multi-disciplinary, total health centre" and see what he recommends. Any other advice will be gratefully received.

Multi-disciplinary health centre? Are we still talking about physios? Its great to hear the pain has eased a little Cirque!
That's a couple of good exercise sessions there Cirque. It great if water walking/running causes you no pain, its amazing just how fit that can keep you. I know a lady who did almost all of her training for a marathon water running - and she ran a 3h15m!
Good luck with whoever you decided to see.
