I spoke too soon
This morning - Yoga
Hi guys
Wow - I really take back my comment from yesterday.
Can arthritis creep up behind you and kick you up the arse while you're asleep? Apparently so.
I thought I had this whole pain cycle kind of pegged by now and that I was on the upward path again, but I woke up at about 2 o'clock this morning and found that I'd been hurled right back into the 'big ball of ache' with a vengence. Pretty much head to toe. And no Mr G, these are not the big hairy balls anyone wants to have as a trophy.
Anyway I tried to get back to sleep but it hurt too much, so I pretty much just thrashed around trying to find a comfortable position until 5.30 when it was time to get up to take C2 and his friend to Crossie training.
Actually, the day got a little better after that. I took the boys to training at six o'clock and when I got back I did some very basic beginner's yoga for half an hour and then had some strawberrys and a cup of tea for breakfast. Isn't that a lovely civilised way to start the day?
Still hurt like hell though.
Well...there's lots more I could say about today but this is supposed to be a running blog so I won't. At some stage I need to fill you in on the new job I'll be starting in a couple of weeks (which is the cause of some of the stress I'm going through at the moment) but that can wait for now. Suffice to say that I've been very tired all day and I'm feeling....ummm.....a little down. :(

Oh Cirque, what are you up to!!!!?? Poor girl, getting a kick up the arse in the middle of the night; I know I wouldn't like it from anyone let alone from something like arthritis! Sure hope it improves a lot & that the new job isn't going to be too stressful...good luck & tell us about it...don't forget!
Sorry to hear that you're not feeling that great (probably a massive understatement). I hope you're feeling a little better now - fingers crossed.
Hope Ipswich is nice to you yvette, and that the pains have settle a little over the weekend. Any more ideas ono the Whitsundays plans? (I wasn't joking you know)
