30 minutes!
4k 30 minutes running + 3x1 min walking breaks
4-12-8-6
New goal: ( I have a plan again, how cool is that?)
I was happy with 30 minutes, but very unimpressed with my speed (lack thereof), technique (ditto), level of difficulty etc.
So my plan is this:
- stick with running for 30 minutes at a time
- not stress if I need to add a few 1 minute walking breaks
- in a week or two, incorporate a slight incline on the treadmill (Shhh - don't tell my chiro)
- some time in late June/early July, start 'taking it on the road' at least once a week
- gradually increase my speed from a shuffle to something that approximates jogging
- be a bit stricter about the yoga, pilates, walking and swimming on rest days
Hmmm, what else? Nope, I think that's enough to go on with for a while....
Broken bits: Lower back - no surprise there.
Shin - I think all you shin people out there have jinxed me. Jen, WM, others...you know who you are.

Congrats on your progress Cirque! I like the looks of your plan too. So sorry about the shins though - I feel your pain.... :(
Congratulations on your 30min effort Cirque - that is a great achievement. And like Wobbly, I feel your pain - at this very moment actually ;-)
