All in all it's just a....
...nother blip in the wall.
Good(ish) news. I had another short test run on Sunday, and my shin still didn't hurt while I was running (thumbs up), but I could definitely feel the swollen, inflamed spot afterwards (thumbs down). I had to cancel last week's appointment with Steve (thumbs down) but I have another one scheduled for next Wednesday, which will give me more time for test runs (thumbs up).
I had another run scheduled for Tuesday, but I was sick again so I couldn't make it. I'm having tests to address that problem (thumbs down). But - I had a very good ECG yesterday (thumbs up). I need to have an echocardiogram asap (thumbs down), but on Monday I have an appointment with the rheumatologist that I've been on the waiting list for since March (thumbs up).
Well...if nothing else...at least my thumbs are getting some exercise!
:)

I'm really sorry to read about how run of (thumbs down) health news. I really feel for you and hope that things improve.
Hang in there - it's better to be doing something exercise wise than nothing at all (I'm trying to convince myself here too!)

The thumbs up may balance the thumbs down, but it still sounds positive to me...

When they do the echocardiogram do you have to repeat everything they say?

Love the new header! You do have very buff thumbs...
just as well you're not playing with all the other long-suffering gladiators in rome
Well I don't know about my thumbs, but my fingers are definitely crossed! *hugs*
I'm all thumbs for you Cirque and hope you get through all this okay. Your sense of humour seems intact, which is important.
I've got my fingers crossed and thumbs up. Hard to type like that! Great that the ECG was all clear and I really hope you get a break soon from all these ups and downs.
