Two shoes, blue shoes - I have new shoes!

Aren't they pretty?

I've been a New Balance girl for a long time now, but after trying just about every shoe in the shop (Intraining - where the lovely Ricky was, as always, very helpful and extremely patient), I discovered that the new NBs were too wide, the Mizunos were too narrow, the Nikes and Asics were too soft, the Brooks hurt my shin and they didn't have the Adidas in my size.

So, although I was a bit anti-Saucony to start with, here they are! And, well...if they happen to be in my favourite colour, then who am I to complain?

They had their first test run this morning and so far, so good. The three of us are going back to see Steve on Wednesday morning so he can give our relationship his blessing and to see if my orthotics need 'tweaking' so we can live together in harmony until death do us part. Hopefully theirs, not mine.
