Virtue is rewarded
Monday
35 minute bike ride
Tuesday
35 minute walk/run
Today
30 minutes swimming/kickboarding
35 minute walk
I haven't done as much as planned this week because I 've been feeling really, really sick for the last few days with constant, severe nausea. It's not a big deal, but I have a stomach problem which isn't usually an issue unless the internal bleeding flares up enough to cause anaemia. I don't think that's the case this time, but it's been severe enough to be debilitating and very unpleasant.
I wasn't going to go to the pool today because I felt so sick, but I figured that as the Cs were going anyway, even walking up and down the lane for half an hour would be better than sitting on my butt at home. Funnily enough, the water was so lovely and cool, that I actually felt better after a few minutes and managed to do about 30 minutes of fairly productive swimming and kickboarding. (Not like the woman I saw who literally dipped her toe in and then took off to have a sauna and spa instead).
Later this afternoon, I had to take my car back to the mechanic (again), so I walked home after dropping it off. I shouldn't really count this as exercise because it was definitely more of a stroll than ny usual breakneck pace, but I need the brownie points!

Brownie points granted!
Brownie points from me too !
I hope you feel better!!!
Sometimes we have the best exercise sessions when we least feel like it. I've never figured that one out.
Hope you're starting to feel better.
I hope you are feeling better :-)
A Mia update - she's feeling very embarassed at the moment because she went to jump on a chair and missed - not very elegant!
oh dear - illness and THAT car playing up again? Certainly enough excuse for the brownie points to be granted cirque (bet it felt great for the self-esteem to see the pretender in the spa too!)
Take any points you can get, Cirque....doesn't matter what colour! Hope you're on the mend & well soon.
Your kickboarding sounds like it's helping heaps, good on you Cirque!
