Adapting to Ipswich
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Getting to the gym is virtually impossible most week days until my new job settles down, so in a dual strategy to adapt to my new regime and to try and rest the shin from hell I did a fairly fast 45 min walk at lunchtime each day with some very small hills (OK - slopes).
Thursday
Fifteen minutes running again and some rowing.
That's all folks.
Do I win the boring blog award?

Hi Cirque - thanks for the lovely comment on my blog. As for yours, I think you get the award for the most perseverance! By the way, how's the swimming going?
No you don't I'm afraid. You are going to have to work much harder to win that award :-)
It must be time for another JOCS weekend isn't it ?? Our last one feels so long ago now !

Sorry Cirque, nowhere near the most boring blog.
Actually, I'll be following with interest to see how you go adapting to life with a long commute. For the last three months I've been driving for around 2 and a half hours a day to work and back and desperately trying to maintain a decent training program.
I've found that I need to plan everything down to the minute to fit sleep, work training and life in. I hope you find a good balance quickly.
Cheers,
Ben
No! No! No! Never boring, Cirque! Hope the 'shin from hell' goes back to where it came from! Take care, now!
Oh Cirque - I've had a flu for over a week! You're trailing far behind me in the boring blog stakes at the moment.
Maybe Jen's idea is something you can work on. Would be good to see the foursome together again
