My New Years Evolution
Swim - 750 metres plus some kickboarding.
I'm feeling MUCH better today. The nausea has subsided a bit and life looks rosy again.
I'd hoped to swim 1k and do some kickboarding but I was really exhausted after 750 metres so I stopped there. In retrospect, that's probably not too bad because after the problems of the last ten days my Hb is probably very low so I can expect to feel very tired for a while. Watch out spinach - here I come!
Warning - this next bit is totally off the track and non-running related, but I put this together the other day at someone's else's request and I didn't feel my blog was complete unless I included an extract from it.

New Years Resolutions
Like many people, I’m very disillusioned by the traditional new years resolutions that are usually abandoned before the hangover fades, but the thought of saying goodbye to some of the negative patterns I held in 2005 and welcoming a fresh start in 2006 is very appealing.
So this is my goal for the coming year...
In the beginning of Grade 2, C2 was asked to list his goals for the year. As always, the Cirquelets seem to have a fairly good handle on the things that are important. According to C2's list, which we found the other day, he wanted to be a ‘gud spela”, and a ‘gud runa”, but more importantly, he really wanted to be a “cind poorsin”.
So…………if I could have one wish for my New Years Evolution it would be to become a genuinely ‘cind poorsin’.
Oh - and if I could be a 'cind poorsin' AND a 'gud runa' that would be the icing on the christmas cake!

Gee, I would have thought that its one down and one to go already! Great to hear things are on the up Y!
C. If you are in life what you are on-line, then I'd say you have the first wrapped up already. Here's to working on the second :-)

The walky run is excellent Cirque, I've had times where all I can do is walk, just take it slowly as you get stronger. Go the swimming! It's great fun isn't it?
Great resolution - I'll second that! A cind poorsin and gud runa, can't ask for more than that.
Glad to hear you're feeling MUCH better.
